"Loud, sensitive, and the receiver works across my whole lake. First bleep at 3am — woke me up immediately."

James W. · Verified Buyer

Never miss a run again — day or night, rain or shine.

The Hirisi S9 Carp Fishing Bite Alarm Set gives you an unmissable LED alert and wireless receiver signal the instant a fish takes your bait. Whether you're in your bivvy, 40 yards down the bank, or catching sleep at 3am — if a carp takes, you'll know. Instantly.

Why carp anglers choose the Hirisi S9
  • Never miss a run — bright LED indicator + audible alarm, adjustable volume up to 100dB
  • Wireless receiver included — range up to 100m so you can rest in your bivvy with confidence
  • 3 individual controls per alarm — volume, tone, and sensitivity adjusted independently per rod
  • LED color coding per rod — receiver shows which rod has a run (no more guessing in the dark)
  • Waterproof construction — IPX4 rated, tested in rain, splash and humid bankside conditions
  • Adjustable sensitivity — dial out false alarms from wind and waves without sacrificing detection
  • Protective carry case included — foam-lined case keeps alarms organized and safe between sessions
What's in the box
  • 3 or 4 × S9 bite alarm units (LED indicator + speaker + control dials)
  • 1 × wireless receiver box (range up to 100m, LED channel display)
  • 1 × protective foam-lined carry case
  • Quick start guide (EN)

⚠️ Batteries not included. Each alarm requires 2 × AAA. Receiver requires 4 × AAA.

Setup guide — on the bank in 5 minutes
Step 1 — Attach to rod (30 sec per rod)

Slide the alarm clip onto your rod rest or bank stick. Clip diameter adjusts for any rod diameter. Run the rod through the alarm arm, ensure the line runs through the roller wheel freely.

Step 2 — Pair receiver (1 min)

The S9 alarms auto-pair to the receiver out of the box. Power on each alarm, then the receiver. Each alarm appears on the receiver as a separate channel (Rod 1, Rod 2, Rod 3 / Rod 4).

Step 3 — Set your sensitivity

Turn the sensitivity dial clockwise to increase detection. In windy or flowing water conditions, reduce sensitivity to avoid false bleeps. In calm still water, maximum sensitivity is ideal.

Step 4 — Adjust volume and tone

Volume: controls how loud the alarm sounds at the rod. Tone: changes the pitch of the bleep — useful when running multiple alarms so you can identify which rod bleeps by sound alone.

FAQ — Common questions
Do batteries come included?

No — each alarm needs 2 × AAA batteries and the receiver needs 4 × AAA batteries. Standard alkaline batteries (Duracell, Energizer) work perfectly. Tip: use rechargeable AA–AAA adapters for eco-friendly long sessions.

What is the range of the wireless receiver?

Up to 100m (330ft) in open conditions. In dense bankside vegetation or with obstacles, range is typically 40–60m — more than enough for any standard carp fishing swim layout.

Can I use these at night?

Yes — the bright orange LED indicator is clearly visible in the dark. The audible alarm wakes you inside your bivvy. The receiver LED panel identifies which rod bleeps. The S9 is specifically designed for overnight carp sessions.

Are they truly waterproof?

The S9 is IPX4 rated — protected against splashing water from any direction. Suitable for rain, bankside spray, and humid conditions. Not designed for submersion. Many anglers have fished with these in heavy rain without any issues.

What size rod rests do they clip onto?

The clip is adjustable and fits standard bank sticks and rod pods from 8mm to 16mm diameter. Compatible with Fox, Korda, Daiwa, and Nash pod systems.

What's in the Box
  • Bite alarm head(s)
  • Wireless receiver / swinger
  • Rod clip mounts
  • USB charging cable(s)
  • Carry case (where included)
  • Instruction manual (EN)
What is the wireless range?

The receiver works reliably up to 100 m in open air. Obstacles like trees and undergrowth can reduce effective range — most carp anglers find 40–60 m more than adequate for a standard swim setup.

What battery does it use?

The alarm heads charge via USB (cable included). A full charge gives 40–60 hours of standby. The receiver uses standard AAA batteries (not included).

Are these compatible with other brand swingers/bobbins?

The alarm heads use a standard 1/4" BSF thread mount, compatible with most aftermarket bobbins and swingers on the market.

How long does shipping take?

Orders ship within 1–2 business days from our U.S. warehouse. Standard delivery 5–7 business days. Free shipping on orders over $50.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do batteries come included?

No — each alarm unit requires 2 × AAA batteries, and the wireless receiver requires 4 × AAA. Standard alkaline batteries work perfectly. For overnight sessions, we recommend Duracell or Energizer — or rechargeable AAAs with a USB charger.

What is the range of the wireless receiver?

Up to 100m (330ft) in open line-of-sight conditions. In a typical bankside swim with vegetation, expect reliable range of 40–70m — more than enough to cover your bivvy. The receiver gives you a specific channel alert so you know exactly which rod has a run.

Will they false alarm in wind or moving water?

Each alarm has an independent sensitivity dial — turn it down in windy or flowing water conditions to eliminate false bleeps. In calm still water, maximum sensitivity gives you the fastest detection. Fine-tuning takes about 2 minutes per session to dial in perfectly.

Are they waterproof?

Yes — the S9 alarms are IPX4 rated, meaning they handle splashing and rain from any direction. They have been tested in heavy sustained rain. They are not designed for submersion. The receiver should be kept sheltered inside your bivvy.

What rod rest / bank stick sizes do they fit?

The clip mechanism is adjustable and fits standard bank sticks and rod pod front rests from 8mm to 16mm diameter. Compatible with Fox, Korda, Daiwa, Nash, and most universal pod systems. No adapter needed for standard setups.

What is the difference between the S9-3 and S9-4 sets?

The 3-Alarm Set includes 3 bite alarms + 1 wireless receiver — ideal for a standard 3-rod carp setup. The 4-Alarm Set includes 4 bite alarms + 1 receiver — perfect for a 4-rod river or multi-rod session. Both use the same receiver and are fully compatible with each other.
