Frequently Asked Questions
What is the control range?
Control range is typically 300–500m in open water. Range may reduce near high structures (bridges, walls) or in areas with wireless interference from other devices. Maintain line of sight with the boat for best performance.
How long does the battery last per charge?
Typical runtime is 90–120 minutes of active use. Running both motors at full speed in strong current reduces run time. Full recharge via the included charger takes approximately 3–5 hours. Carry a spare battery for long sessions.
What payload / bait capacity does it carry?
The dual hopper system carries approximately 1–1.5kg of bait per trip. Each hopper releases independently on command via the remote — giving you two precise bait drop points per pass. Groundbait, pellets, particles, and crushed boilies all work well.
How accurate is the GPS and does it hold position?
The built-in GPS holds a programmed return point to within approximately 1–2m. It also fights against current and wind drift to maintain a consistent course, so you can drop bait repeatedly to the same spot with accuracy. The GPS return function brings the boat back automatically with a single button press.
Is it safe to use in rain and rough conditions?
The hull and electronics are splash-proof and designed for normal fishing conditions including light rain and small waves. Avoid operating in strong wind — the motors may struggle and battery drains faster. If the boat capsizes: retrieve immediately, remove the battery, drain all water, and allow to dry completely before next use.
What is the hull material and how durable is it?
Hull: ABS. ABS plastic hulls are impact-resistant and UV-stable for outdoor use. Avoid running at full speed into banks or submerged obstacles — at speed, even durable hulls can crack on solid impact. Check the hull for hairline cracks at the waterline after each session.
