What boots or shoes do I wear with stocking foot waders?
Stocking foot waders require a separate wading boot worn over the neoprene sock. Size up by one from your normal shoe size to fit comfortably over the sock. Standard rubber-soled wading boots, outdoor boots with ankle support, or dedicated wading shoes all work well.
Are the BASSDASH waders truly waterproof for deep river wading?
Yes — designed for full chest-deep wading. Seams are taped or welded to prevent water ingress at the joins. Inspect seams at the start of each season — a small amount of seam sealer extends life significantly.
How breathable are they? Will I overheat in summer?
Made from POLYESTER — breathable construction allows body moisture to escape while blocking water entry. In warm weather, roll the top of the waders down to the waist and clip them. Light thermal underlayers for cold, base layer only for warm — the waders themselves add little warmth.
